Both EST in the world of music since the 1990’s ...NYC bred MELISSA NIKITA + VTONE separately held down residencies in some of the top clubs NYC had to offer. Rocked by these two forces; by the mid-2000’s, MELISSA NIKITA + VTONE recognized to have similar sounds + style, were both being booked side by side at clubs across the city. Ranging from Techhouse - Techno, the two paired up to form ONE in recent times and now work side by side as partners sharing the studio and as entrepreneurs in their co-owned business TECHTONiK Music Productions, LLC.
OUR STORY
In 2011, MELISSA NIKITA + VTONE formed TECHTONiK Music Productions, LLC and now share the studio as a TECH-HOUSE / TECHNO Production duo. They started their journey with releases on System Recordings (US) featuring remix work by RON COSTA.
In recent days, Both Melissa Nikita + VTONE have much to look forward to with their NEW releases with Marco Bailey's label MB Elektronics and NYC's own Nervous Records.
The name "MELISSA NIKITA" has been spoken off the lips of many people, in different sectors of the music business, for over 18 years. MELISSA NIKITA is not only a DJ, Producer, & Lyricist; but also co-owner of TECHTONiK Music Productions, LLC.
Deriving as a vocalist/lyricist from the early ago of 6 years old, to an internationally recognized DJ by 22, MELISSA NIKITA was poised to make her mark on the electronic music scene and establish herself as a staple in the business.
A true Artist at heart, VTONE has been a predominant force in the music scene for over 15 years. VTONE deriving as a drummer by the age of 8; knew only shortly after that he would find his true calling within the scene as a DJ/Producer and now co-owner of TECHTONiK Music Productions, LLC.
His sight was set on becoming a marker within the business. By the late 1990’s; VTONE was already a resident DJ at some of the hottest clubs NYC had to offer.
